The Residents

Many of Senwick House's residents, before coming to live with us, lived locally in Dumfries and Galloway. Currently, residents come from as far a field as the Orkneys, Oban and the south of England.

Most of our residents live with us permanently, though some come for short-term stays and holidays. Respite care is offered to give carers and families a break and we are always ready for emergency care and day-care admissions.

Senwick House is not too big, and so manages to maintain a friendly and intimate atmosphere, all the staff being familiar with resident's 'likes and dislikes.'
