Where is Senwick House?

Senwick House Residential Home for retired people, is an historic country house, set in the heart of the Galloway countryside, overlooking the sea at Brighouse Bay, near Kirkcudbright.

Brighouse Bay is 2 miles from Borgue and the county town of Kirkcudbright is 5 miles. Gatehouse of Fleet is about 10 miles.

Even though Senwick House has a spectacular rural setting, it is easy to get to, being about 10 miles from the A75 (Euro-route), and a 40 minute drive from Dumfries railway station.

Galloway, in the South West corner of Scotland, is a popular tourist destination, noted for its gentle way of life and spectacular scenery.

The mature trees surrounding Senwick provide shelter from the sea breeze, creating a haven for plants and wildlife.
