Catering
Lunch is the main meal of the day with a light supper in the evenings. Meals are served in the dining room, although residents can dine in their rooms if they prefer. Residents enjoy drinks together in the sitting-room prior to lunch and supper. Afternoon tea is served with Senwick's home-baked cakes by the log fire in the winter, and in the summer, tea in the garden is always popular. A staff member is always available to make snacks/hot drinks etc. at any time of the day or night. Senwick House, being set in its own sheltered and mature gardens, is expanding its vegetable and fruit gardens, as the residents are so fond of the seasonal home-grown fruit and vegetables. The well-established fruit trees, which include plum, greengage, apple and pear, provide a plentiful supply of fresh fruit in the late summer. The menu is varied and nutritious and everything we serve is home-made and well presented. Special dietary requirements are catered for. |
